Day 1:
Starting from Fez, our journey leads us through the picturesque Middle Atlas mountains, making a stop in Ifrane, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Africa.” Continuing onwards, we pass through Azrou, known for its national park abundant with cedar trees, home to the renowned local monkeys. Our route then takes us to the Ziz Valley, eventually reaching Erfoud, famed for its fossil discoveries. Upon arrival in the desert, we embark on a camel ride to the heart of the Sahara, where we are greeted in the traditional Sahara manner with Berber tea, followed by dinner and a drum party at the Sahara camp.

Day 2 – Nomadic Encounters:
We awaken to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes, enjoying breakfast before commencing our exploration of the desert. Our first stop is Khamlia, a town known for its talented musicians who specialize in Gnawa music. After a captivating concert, we continue our journey via 4×4, traversing a track used in the famed “Paris-Dakar Rally.” Pausing for a panoramic view of the expansive Erg Chebbi, we then visit sedentary nomads, sharing tea and gaining insights into their lifestyle. Returning to the hotel, the afternoon is free for leisure, followed by dinner and accommodation in the desert.

Day 3 – Merzouga, Rissani, Ouarzazate:
Leaving the dunes behind, we head towards Tinghir, where we explore the ancient Todra Gorges, dating back to the 15th century. We also visit the Tinghir palm grove before resting and dining at the Todra Gorges. Continuing our journey, we pass through the valley of roses and the charming Berber village of Boutghrart, enjoying tea with a local family. Along the route of a thousand kasbahs, we stop to admire kasbahs, scenic landscapes, and the nomadic cave dwellings, eventually arriving in Skoura to visit the Amredil kasbah. Our day concludes in Ouarzazate, with dinner and accommodation.

Day 4 – Ait Ben Haddou, High Atlas, and Marrakech:
Our adventure takes us to the enchanting kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, renowned for its appearances in numerous films. We also visit Telouet before returning to Marrakech in the afternoon, crossing the Tizi N Tichka pass with its stunning vistas. The tour concludes at your accommodation or a location of your choice in Marrakech.
